Hill House is more than a structure—it is a total environment that envelops you. When you enter the home, you enter into a harmonious marriage between nature and dwelling—a sanctuary.

Therefore, many of the pictures in this portfolio feature not only the home, but also the views seen from the rooms. Each season is represented because grace and beauty thrive here the year round.

Each direction is presented, as well, because each is vastly different. The east side of Hill House nestles into the hill that rises above the home—creating an intimate space for quiet reflection. The west side soars over the panoramic vista of countryside and water—opening to a sense of weightlessness. The south side glances into a small opening of level land between the rising hill from behind and the downward slope into the woods below. The north side looks out over the top of the drive, past the flower gardens, into the meadow of wild flowers and beyond to the far pine-covered hills.
