Driving Directions:
Take I-75 to Hwy 3, then go East on Jefferson East and cross MacArthur
Bridge to Belle Isle. Take the island road to the east and follow
around the island to the memorial.

This 65 foot high marble structure is a tribute to a William Livingstone,
a Detroit citizen, who served as president of the Lake Carriers Association from 1902-1925.
The memorial has been lovingly maintained by local Detroit groups to help
preserve its beauty on Belle Isle.
