The Point Iriquois Lighthouse was built in 1871 and stayed in operation for 100 years closing in 1971. There is a massive 65 foot brick tower with an attached 2 story house. This lighthouse is completely restored and is a beautiful display of Michigan history and craftsmanship. The house is a museum, and it is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
