Granite Island Lighthouse has undergone a complete restoration. Only a few years ago this lighthouse was considered abandoned and dangerous until a new owner completely restored the property. Granite Island Light was built in 1869 and stands 40 feet tall. The tower is granite and there is a two story brick home attached.
