Driving Directions: Take
US-23 to the north end of Grand Lake and then turn East on Old
State Road. Take to Grand Lake Rd and head north to the south
end of the peninsula.

Old Presque Isle Lighthouse was established in 1840. It is now inactive, and has been turned into a museum. Although it is privately owned, it is open to the public. The light is conical and created of rough stone on the bottom and brick on the top. The light was brought from South Fox Island Lighthouse in the late 1950's to preserve it.
